>>> I was recently in a large group sound art show installed in an old Convent in Greenpoint Brooklyn called Sequence Of Waves. click HERE and HERE for more Info.

My contribution was this version of the Party Lab project similar to the Recording Array installed in the Silent Barn. Two Different positions were miced on each floor of the Convent, situated around the points of greatest intersection of Sound Art and Crowd Noise. This was piped to the Control Room in the basement

The end of 2010 SURE WAS INTERESTING.

As Well as the Summer:

VIDEO: Finished a new Nonhorse quote unquote "music video"

>>> with help from a wonderful team of artists. The video documents my eairly summer creative obsession with the "Heptagon" or "Heptagon Gate" or Seven-Sided-Polygon and its ambigious relationship to reality. The Music was created for the video, not the other way round. Check it out, (scroll down to turn off the music my site purposly "jumps" you with):

RADIO:

>>> My Summer-long Residency at The Clocktower Gallery was a whirlwind of Time, Justice and Creative Flow, as I was situated in one of their Project rooms and allowed to go nuts for about two months.

My time in the Tower culminated in a massive audio urban-apocalyptic narrative

"Four Tapes From The Active Apocalypse"

The project is about 4 hours long, broken up into four narrative chapter chunks. Heres a Link to the streaming audio and the concurrent story descriptions, as well as an interview about my project and my work, by Will Corwin.

HERE IS THE PROJECT IT'S HUGE

HERE IS THE INTERVIEW

IN OTHER RADIO NEWS:

>>> I visited WFMU's My Castle of Quiet, Hosted by William Berger, and threw down a sci-fi cosmic horror set, mixing the threads of movies and moaning, cats rats and dogs, people hyperventilating and smooth space music into a battle with my Nonhorse Alter-ego. It was pretty immersive, i lost all sense of time and just managed to stop in time. Pretty spooky!

HERES THE LINK TO THE AUDIO AND DESCRIPTION

>>> Did a stint on Arthur Radio where I was weved into a Psychogeography discussion with Sun Araw and a killer Disco-Sigil dj set by Will Crowfoot and company:

HERE IS THE LINK IT WAS A JAM SESSION

>>> ........And here I am spinning on Free103.9 on Tom Mulligan's Triangulation show with Paul from Obselet Units.

IT WAS FUN HERES THE LINK:

>>> I also was invited to speak about the Common Cassette tape on several shows interested in defining something like a "tape culture" While I prefer to think about the medium in the media context of our relationship to technology and not in a "fashion or scene sense" I appreciate the acknowledgment of the medium itself. Its not a "resurgence" for me and it is not "nostalgia" There are many ways to engage with the human media sphere.

>>> I was on WNYC's SoundCheck, which was quite an honor, and very stimulating, dispite the tape-hate in the comments section.

CHECK IT OUT

>>> And Heres a little more personal interview by Stephanie Hughes on the show Word Of Mouth. Its more personal because she actually came to my house and watched me mix tapes:

ITS INTERESTING HERES THE LINK
